This painting is of Landgrove Hollow, where Route 11 (then a stage road) crosses Flood Brook. Landgrove Hollow Road was once the main route to Landgrove from South Londonderry. In it's heyday, Landgrove Hollow had a thriving watering hole and dance floor at The Landgrove Coffee House.
